Welcome to Kylemore Jack Russell Terriers
Here at Kylemore we are dedicated to preserving and protecting the Connemara line of Jack Russell Terriers. Please enjoy all the pictures and information contained in our website. Our hope is that by the time you finish looking at each page and learning more about these special little terriers, you will be just as smitten by them as we are!
If you have made your way to our website because you already know that a Jack Russell Terrier is the dog for you and your family, we hope that your search will end here with us or with one of the other Connemara Terrier Society certified and registered breeders.
Our Terriers are truly unique. Bred for health and temperament first and foremost, their lines can be traced back to the late 1800’s in Ireland when a few families started breeding them for companionship on the family farm. Their goal was to produce a loyal and compact terrier with
a sound temperament that was good around children, other family pets and livestock. In the United States today, there are only a handful of families still breeding this pure line of terrier.
Our dogs are our family and puppies will be raised in an enriched environment in the heart of our home. At present we will be raising only one to two litters per year. Since we feel it is our obligation to breed responsibly, we will require advance reservations for each litter.
The goal of our website is to provide you with enough information to answer any questions you may have about our terriers. After you take the time to explore our website in depth, please feel free to contact us at any time as we look forward to talking with you in person if you
